On Sunday, November 1st, we had an open house for our new building, from 1:30 till 3:30! :) So many people came, and got to actually not only see, but walk through the building and see all of the amazing work the guys have been doing. A large majority of the framing is done, so everyone could totally 'see' the designation of the sanctuary, the hallways, the classrooms, and the fellowship hall. It was so awesome to see the look on everyone's faces when they first came in, and the most common resonse was, 'We had no idea it was SO BIG!!!' Indeed, we call it the 'Snoopy Dog House,' as from the outside, it is quite decieving how tall the ceilings are in the sanctuary, and somehow, their 20 feet look even taller! We were all stunned and thrilled to find glorious and beautiful, (and giant!) wood beams spanning the length of the sanctuary when the drop ceiling was removed... It was like unwrapping an amazing, secret blessing that the Lord knew was there all along. Like Christmas, only better! ; ) We will be posting a video of the open house soon, and in the mean time, we will post a few pictures here! :) Thank you Lord, for such a great time of gathering and fellowship, and time together in this amazing building you are giving us! :)
